Residents of Miramar Landing in Middle River were invited to celebrate their community becoming Bay-Wise certified on Sunday, June 12, and the unveiling of the community’s newest park, Biggs Square Park. The community is the first in the county to achieve the certification.

Baltimore County Councilwoman Cathy Bevins held her annual STEM Fair Awards Ceremony Wednesday morning, June 1, at Parkville High School to honor the fourth and fifth grade Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Fair winners from each elementary school in the sixth district. Parents, teachers and principals all gathered in Café B to take pictures and eat cake provided by Bevins.
